Future In Focus

Register here for Future in Focus, an event to show public high school students what unionized careers in New York City look like.

We'll inform students about unions, collective bargaining and the impact of organized labor on our society. In an open exhibition hall, students will move freely between tables and speak with union members representing public- and private-sector unions and building trades. They'll learn about the occupations represented, the qualifications required and apprenticeship opportunities.

You may register to bring your students to one of three one-hour sessions.

Postsecondary Fair @ PAIHS Elmhurst

We cordially invite you to attend our Postsecondary Fair Night which will be held on Thursday, November 14. The event will be held at Pan American International High School, Multi-Purpose Room 311 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. We hope that a representative from your institution can join us for this event. An informative evening of this type is only successful when such representatives are present to explain the process and encourage students about their future educational and career plans. Please keep in mind our student population is composed of English Language Learners who will benefit from a Spanish-speaking representative but not necessary.

Parking is available on the street around the school. We recommend public transportation as parking space can be limited. The Newtown/Grand Avenue Subway station on the R and G lines is a 10-minute walk to our school. There will be food and beverages provided. We appreciate you!

Kindly RSVP by November 2nd by filling out our Google form linked here if your institution will be participating in our Postsecondary Fair Night. You can reach me at 718- 271-3602 Ext.3714 or via email at storres@panamericanihs.org.

Thank you and we hope you can make it!
